FORT WORTH, Texas (March 21, 2019)
One of the longest running charity events in Texas Motor Speedway history continues March 28 with the 22nd annual Bill Walker Memorial Gears & Greens Golf Tournament presented by Premier Truck Group.
With a new location at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, a welcome reception brought to you by Quorum International, awards throughout the day, and visits from 1310 The Ticket and All-Pro Guard Zack Martin, the round promises to entertain from the 1st hole through the last.
Competitors can look forward to a Swag Suite, giveaways while on the course, and a Hole-in-One competition offering a chance to drive a stock car on the Texas Motor Speedway 1.5-mile tri-oval with instruction by three-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart.
The tournament kicks off with Registration, breakfast, and a trip through the Swag Suite at 7:00 a.m., a shotgun start at 8:00, and lunch and awards at the conclusion of play.
The Texas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities has utilized this event to raise more than $750,000 for kids in Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties in North Texas, and it’s a traditional kickoff to the spring’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR weekend.

SCC-Texas Chapter has made a lasting impact on children in North Texas since its inception in 1997 by awarding more than $10.85 million in grants to area children’s organizations.
