The sights, sounds and automotive history of the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association comes to Texas Motor Speedway with the 11th annual LMC Truck Spring Nationals from March 12-14.
The season-opening event will feature more than 2,000 hot rods, classics, muscle cars, and trucks through 1987 and original body style Chevrolet and GMC Trucks from 1988-1998.
Featured events during the Goodguys weekend include the all-new LMC Truck Ultimate Showcase, Goodguys CPP Autocross Series (featuring a 16-car "Lone Star Shootout”, Nitro Thunderfest dragster exhibition, burnout competition, and swap meet and Cars 4 Sale Corral).
The Team Texas race car driving school will provide four-lap stock car rides for an additional fee on March 12 and stock car limousine rides March 12 and 14. There’s also a kids zone with free arts and crafts, games, prizes and more.
Spectator gates open each day at 8 a.m. and close Friday and Saturday at 5 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m. Advance tickets for adults start as low as $18 per day, with kids ages 7-12 just $10 per day and free to children six and under.
It was announced in February that the Goodguys 1st Meguiar’s All Star Get-Together, June 4-6, 2021, at Texas Motor Speedway in partnership with the June 11-13 NASCAR All-Star Race Weekend. The second of three annual Goodguys events at No Limits, Texas, will welcome all American made and/or powered cars and trucks, including import cars and trucks using domestic powerplants. The 28th Summit Lone Star Nationals is scheduled for Sept. 24-26, 2021.
