FORT WORTH, Texas (OCT. 15, 2024) – Dallas Cowboys Chief Brand Officer & Co-Owner Charlotte Jones and City of Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker will headline Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas “Geared for Greatness” networking breakfast and forum on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Irving’s Vegas-style showroom and event center The Rayleigh Underground. 

This dynamic event celebrates female trailblazers paving the path to greatness in their industries. The impressive list of additional speakers includes Klyde Warren Park President Kit Sawers, The Rios Group President Rosa Navejar, and Dallas Cowboys sideline reporter Kristi Scales.

Geared for Greatness promises to be an empowering and impactful day, combining networking and philanthropy in one inspiring forum. Guests will experience leadership lessons and insightful stories from industry experts and community leaders.

In doing so, it has provided a tremendous financial benefit for children in need in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties.”

The three-hour event begins at 10 a.m. with registration, brunch, and an initial networking session. The on-stage program will follow with a panel of speakers including Parker, Navejar, and Sawers followed by a fireside chat with Jones and Scales.

CBS Texas President & General Manager Raquel Amparo and FC Dallas Vice President of Broadcasting, Media & Communications Gina Miller are this year’s Geared For Greatness co-chairs.

Tickets are $100 each and all proceeds from “Geared for Greatness” will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities and further its mission of fighting for children who are homeless, parentless, or victims of trafficking in North Texas.
