Dear Friends of Texas Motor Speedway,
First and foremost, I hope you, your family and loved ones are healthy and safe in this time of uncertainty. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to require us all to adapt our normal ways of life and stay vigilant in doing all we can to slow its spread. We remain fully committed to keeping our fans, partners and employees up to speed as we prepare for our upcoming race events.
We remain in constant contact with public health officials regarding the most current developments and continue to closely monitor the ever-changing situation. Though our spring O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 weekend has been postponed, we are working with all of our partners and sanctioning bodies to bring you the tremendous racing you’ve come to expect and appreciate at The Great American Speedway.
Our facilities are currently closed to the public as we follow the governmental guidelines for social distancing. The majority of the Texas Motor Speedway staff is working from home, so we appreciate your patience if you call and have to leave a message. I promise we’ll get back in touch with you as soon as humanly possible. You can also call us at 817.215.8500.
I guarantee you we will immediately update our website and post to all of our social media channels, including our mobile app, as soon as any significant change to our schedule is announced.
Please continue to practice good hygiene and practice social distancing for the good of yourself, your family and your community. When you do return to the speedway, you will find the facility has been thoroughly cleaned with additional hand-washing facilities and hand sanitizer stations throughout.
All of us at Texas Motor Speedway thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this wholly new experience. The safety and support of our race fans and the community as a whole is our top priority.
An exciting and action-packed season of the best racing in the world is just around the corner at Texas Motor Speedway. We’ll be ready, willing and able to provide you the best experience possible when that time comes.
Stay Safe,
Eddie Gossage
President and General Manager
