Texas Motor Speedway has retained Fort Worth-based consulting firm Douglass SPLY to enhance its overall marketing and community outreach in the Fort Worth/Dallas metroplex in an effort to achieve its expanding strategic goals.
Douglass SPLY Founder & CEO Katie Douglass will work with Texas Motor Speedway Executive Vice President & General Manager Mark Faber and his executive staff on key initiatives for the Speedway Motorsports facility celebrating its 28th year hosting world-class motorsports and entertainment events, including the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR tripleheader weekend April 12-14.

Katie’s extensive experience and leadership in the Fort Worth community and the region will help TMS in our sports and entertainment initiatives as we continue to bring world-class events to Fort Worth/Dallas.”
Douglass brings extensive executive experience in strategic planning, experiential marketing, communications and team building to the partnership. She served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing for the Fort Worth Chamber from 2020-2023 and Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Affairs for the University of Texas San Antonio Athletics from 2018-2020. She is a founding member of the NFL Players Association The Trust program and served from 2010-2013 as the Kansas City Chiefs Director of Player Engagement.
